Biography: A range conservationist by training, India Hayford has worked at the Werner Wildlife Museum since July of 2014. She writes The Howl, the museum’s quarterly wildlife newsletter, and manages museum art shows, children’s programs, and the Wildlife Study Series which presents speakers and topics once a month. She is a fervent gardener, accomplished embroiderer, and devoted student of rattlesnakes and prairie dogs. She has been married to RoyHayford since 1981. They have a son who is a firefighter, a daughter who is a police detective, one grandson, and a granddaughter due in October.
